Things you should do to prepare for the Drupal Clinic for Beginners

  • Register at Eventbrite
  • Make sure you can bring a working WiFi enabled laptop with its power cord.
  • Setup a trial Webenabled.com account and install the Drupal 7 distribution (see Resources) If you want help, arrive at the Clinic at 9:30am for assistance.
  • Download prepared photos in zip file ( see Resources)
  • Printout Curriculum This is handy for taking notes, following the presentation, and if you need to ask for help from a teaching assistant. (Print the curriculum the day before the event to get the latest version as it is still in draft.)
  • Get directions and check parking availability and public transportation for Tableau Software in Fremont (see Venue)
  • Recommended: Bring a power strip or extension cord labelled with your email address

Notebook

The notebook section provides a way for you to store and share information with your group members. With the book feature you can:

  • Add book pages and organize them hierarchically into different books.
  • Attach files to pages to share them with others.
  • Track changes that others have made and revert changes as necessary.
  • Archive books that are no longer of interest to the group. Archived books can be reactivated later if needed.
